I hit level 5 and tried to return to town only to hit what apparently is the RoV cutscene that just leaves me with a black screen. Any future logins and I hit said black screen so I’m unable to really progress on server.

This is the other bug related to RoV that is currently unresolved due to the current version mismatch issue between us and LSB. We hope it will be resolved by the next update (April 30th). I may be able to move your character ingame though..just msg me ingame or on Matrix chat. My apologies for the late reply by the way..been really busy with server launch and everything.
